I have sketches for 13 ships (one of each race from 1-13), featuring a "Secret Organization" of each race, dunno how far I'll get, I may only get a few...
I'll change this page when I add more, if it gets to be 6 PM (EST), I'm probably done...
The Federation has record of a USS Aleah, a tug which apparently never docks at any port.
Whenever a Federation officer notices this oddity in the records, they are directed to ignore it, as the USS Aleah is under special assignment.
The Aleah is actually under the service of Section 31, an ultra-secret intelligence agency in the Federation, whose job is to protect Federation interests at all costs.
The small central section detaches from the main ship (taking half the shields with it), and acts as a special scout PF.
The "Bane Hunters" do not officially exist in the Klingon military.
Most members of the Klingon Empire are aware of the Bane Hunters existence, but will not discuss the situation with non-Klingons.
The Bane Hunters are technically a branch of ISF, designed to seek and destroy all members of the "Worshipers of the Bane Fleet".
The Worshipers of the Bane Fleet are Klingons in liege with Fek'lar, the Klingon lord of the dishonored dead.
They also seek the Old Kings, who they believe have ties with certain powerful 9X entities.
During the 0Xl time period, the Worshipers of the Bane Fleet found and made a deal with one such entity.
They did not fulfill their end of the bargain, the entity became angry, and cursed the entire Klingon population (causing a change in their appearance).
This caused the creation of the Bane Hunters, to exterminate the Worshipers of the Bane Fleet before they did any more damage (and perhaps to convince the entity to remove the curse).
After the Worshipers of the Bane Fleet were forced out of the Alpha Quadrant (2Xe time period), the Bane Hunters' mission was altered to engage in the Great Tribble Hunt, then was disbanded before the Next Generation.
Someone asked for light monitors, so I figured it would be logical to take my old "tourney" monitor and make it narrower.
Art Trotman (source of many ideas!) asked for an 1X Enterprise-type ship for each major race.
Here's one for the Hydrans, complete with some Legendary Officers.
This is one of those ships that a lot of people have been asking to see for a long time.
The "Enclave" race is a fan race by Mark McDonald & John Hall.
Here, I take a slightly modified Sabre NCL, and add a rear pod to make a NCC (like many races do in Module R10).
This series takes my old "Banner SSDs" and tries to make them into "real" SSDs.
Most of these little banners were not serious, so the resultant ship can be considered a "Joke" SSD.
I may not do them in (chronological) order; I'm sort of jumping around.
This was the banner SSD for December 1999.
This was the banner SSD for January 2001.
This was the banner SSD for March 2001.
I'm starting ten SSD series, and I'll rotate through them four times (16 SSDs each).
This will probably take me 3-4 months to do (ending in time for the holidays).
Here's the first update of the first series; this series takes TNG SSDs, makes them 0X tech, and replaces the mega-boxes with normal boxes.
These ships are one tech level higher than the 2Xr ships I put up earlier this week.
This is not my normal 3X tech level; these ships use normal boxes and do not use the TNG rules at all.
The PH-K and PH-L replace the PH-I and PH-J.
The "AO" system is like an NWO that can duplicate any single box non-weapon system (so it can WARP, BRDG, SHTL, etc.).
Since these ships can move speed 31 quite easily, you might want to consider using some sort of house rules to allow speeds above 31.
The rest of the changes should be fairly apparent; I'm planning to go back and do Destroyer SSDs for all three tech levels (1Xr, 2Xr, 3Xr), when I do that, I'll describe fighters, PFs, and other miscellanious rules.
This first week of SSDs will be (for the most part) simple variants of 1X cruisers.
The "1Xr" tech level means "1X Revised" (as in "Revised Lower Tech"), this will have more meaning as we move into next week.
