A lot of people have asked me for counter sheets. A lot of people have also offered their help. :P
Unfortunately, everyone knows how busy I am on other SFB things, and the counter sheets have been low priority.
So, here's the beginnings of how I was going to do counter sheets, and how you can help me finish.
Don't worry, you WON'T need to do drawing to do the counters, believe it or not, it's a relatively simple SSD conversion.
It's straight-forward but time consuming, so I hope others can do it for me, and I can spend time making more the 1998 campaign that people want to see.
OK, first of all, here's a mostly empty counter sheet with about 10 counters on it, so you get the idea:

Now, on my computer, if I open this with LVIEW, select "Print Setup - Landscape", and print, the little counters are very close to being real size.
At work they're a bit larger (perhaps by about 1/16 of an inch).
I left some white space around the edge so you can crop or expand the image so it'll print better (without resorting to rescaling the whole thing and it being ugly).
Once printed, the sheet can be pasted to cardboard (the back of an old tablet works very well) and cut out; or you can laminate the sheet on both sides then cut.
Now let's get to the counter-making.

You'll probably have to set "Type" as "All Files" on the bottom of the Open Window to see it.
If you see no color box, click View - Color Box.
If the background of the counter is to be white or black, instead choose any other color (such as orange).
If the fill "bleeds" into the inside of the ship, Undo and try to fill in the gaps in the outline, and try again.
Right click on White if White is not shown as background color in the little box to the left of the Color box.
If the foreground is to be white or black, select any other color you haven't selected before.
At this point, you should have a pretty clean (and big) "picture" of what the counter will look like.
If the image you've copied is too large or small, go back to the temporary Paint application, click "Edit - Undo" twice, and Stretch/Skew with 6 or 8 instead of 7.
Type in the name of the ship and number towards the top of the counter.
You will probably have to change the text's color (to either white or black).
